MANCHESTER OPEN POOL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008 / 2009

Dear Player

Thank you for entering the 2008 / 2009 Manchester Open Championships.

Please read through all the information carefully.

All matches must take place at RILEYS CHORLTON. Remember to quote ‘Manchester Open match’ to receive a discounted table rate.

Match sheets available behind the bar. Completed sheets must be verified by a member of staff who will then post in the results box.

It is not necessary to play your matches in order but they MUST be played BEFORE their respective DEADLINES. No excuses will be accepted so plan ahead for holidays etc.

If you are having any problems contacting or arranging your match with an opponent then contact a member of the committee immediately, but ensuring that you give us ample time to act on any dispute. Disputes within 48 hours of, or after, the deadline will not be heard.

Failure to complete a match by its deadline will result in a FINE for BOTH PLAYERS regardless of blame. All fines will be deducted from your deposit.

Any player who FAILS TO ATTEND a pre arranged match without giving at least 24 hours notice of cancellation may be subject to a £5 COMPENSATION charge to the offended player.

Remember it is both players responsibility to arrange matches you have all your opponents information, please use it.

The last fixtures in the group stages MUST be played ON the deadline day. All group matches will start simultaneously on: Sunday 8^th March 2009

Group A 5:30pm.           Group B 6:30pm.            Group C 8:00pm.              Group D 9:00pm
