PREMIER POOL TOUR 2007

After the huge success of the 2006 tour, the 2007 Premier Pool Tour is now taking entries and expects to fill up fast with an advertised £6,000 prize fund over 5 events around the Midlands and North West of England.

Entry to the tour is just £100 and for that you get to play on the best tour in the region with 63 other competitors. There will be 4 initial events with a Grand Final scheduled at the end of the year. The 2007 tour will start and finish at the fantastic Riley's venue in Chorlton, Greater Manchester and will also play at Crewe, Derby and Stoke throughout the year.

Players from all around the Midlands, North and North Wales are expected to join the tour for next season.

Full details are as follows:

£100 full tour entry fee

64 maximum entries

£6,000 total tour prize fund (ie £1,200 per event). £1,000 up on 2006.

Event 1: Feb 3rd - Riley's (Chorlton), Manchester
Event 2: March 24th - Corn Exchange, Derby
Event 3: May 19th - Green Baize, Stoke
Event 4: Sept 8th - Dishers, Crewe
Grand Final: Nov 17th - Riley's (Chorlton), Manchester

Handicaps.....Players are sorted in to 3 classes as follows:
Class 1: Top 32 IPA
Class 2: 33-64 IPA, plus those deemed equivalent by the committee
Class 3: Everyone else

Class 3 players get a 2 frame start against Class 1 players.
Class 2 players get a 1 frame start against Class 1 players.
Class 3 players get a 1 frame start against Class 2 players.

This will, hopefully, give all competitors a fair chance.

All matches best of 11 frames, from start to finish. No increase for later rounds. There will also be a ranking list, which will be updated after each event on various websites such as uk8ball.com, dishers.co.uk, derbyshirepool.com and manchesterpool.com

Start times.....32 will be drawn in advance and will be required to be available from 10:30am on the day of the event. The remaining 32 will be required to arrive at the venue no later than 12:30pm. This will be done prior to each event.
